If the menus appear transparent or ghosted go to the Internet Explorer menu and select Tools >> Internet Options.

Click the Settings button denoted by the RED circle.

Select the radio button titled Automatically denoted by the RED circle. Click OK. Click OK again.

You should now have solid fills for the menus.
