Data appearing in these screen shots is for test purposes only and is not intended to represent real trucking data.
Note the time saving push pins for field defaults.
The items showing in the grids are specific for the Trip chosen and the type of record chosen. In this case a Trip named 2C-231 has been selected and the Expenses
tab chosen so the grid shows
only Expenses for that Trip. Trips can be named anything you want - it is totally up to you. Name your Trips what ever means something to you so you can recall them later if needed.
You can create your own custom Categories and Payment types. All data for the drop down lists can be entered on-the-fly meaning that if you are in the middle of entering a record and realize
you forgot to enter a Vendor just click the Vendor button, enter the Vendor and Save then that new Vendor instantly appears in your list. Some programs allow only one screen open at a time
preventing
such an operation without backing out of the screen you are working on.
Notice the checkboxes above - Recurring Expense. ezTrucker lets you clone Trips as well as the records that go with a cloned Trip. If you have a regular load you
do there is no need to re-enter all the
data for the Trip each time. Select a Trip to clone then just change the dates and mileage. How easy is that? Lets say a Trip you make twice a week has toll booths,
scales and any other recurring Expenses.
Don't reenter all those Expenses time and time again. When you mark them as a 'Recurring Expense' the expense records will automatically be created when you clone the Trip. All you have to do
is change the dates! All records associated with a Trip can be designated as 'Recurring' and cloned with the Trip.
